Steve Regur – Ed.D
Steve Regur Ed.D. is a founder and current CEO of the Educators Cooperative, a leader in innovative K-12 education solutions. Dr. Steve Regur Ed.D. graduated from the USC Rossier School of Education in 2010. His doctoral work evaluated the conditions necessary for districts to support college and career ready skills that prepare students to succeed in a dynamically interconnected world. Steve has a very diverse portfolio that includes his work at Educators Cooperative where he leads a diverse team with a wide range of projects designed to empower teachers and increase opportunities for students, while staying grounded in solid research about teaching and learning. Current projects include realigning district practices to drive 21st Century learning, provide embedded support for blended-learning implementations which utilize the current open-source technology. Steve also developed a strategic planning protocol for Common Core implementation and Next Generation Assessment design that infuses the Balanced Instructional Framework, an instructional design that helps teachers align research-based practices with innovative, student-driven approaches. In the past 15 years, he has authored more than $4.2 million in grants for schools; co-founded two innovative K-5 and two 6-12 public schools; and has helped dozens of schools and districts reach student achievement goals.
Steve also leads Regur Development Group (RDG), Inc., which solves financial and human resources projects associated with disruptive innovations in education. Since 2012, RDG has been part of two collaborative projects, one with Encinitas Union School District and the Sonima Foundation and the other with Cajon Valley Union School District and the Sonima Foundation to integrate Health and Wellness into public schools.
